What a busy month!

Wow January has been my most exciting month, yet!
In January I have:

Learned to clap
Tried out Pigtails, and a few other hairdos
Took my first polk ride (cross country skiing)
Got bronchitis
Cut two teeth
Got my first ear infection (which just won't go away)
Took my first airplane ride
Took my first ferry boat ride
Learned to "army crawl"

Day 247

My big sister holding me on our flight back to MN,
she was too busy reading to smile for mom and I was just too busy sleeping. Mom was really glad I fell asleep since I did not sleep much the night before due to a fever, ear ache and teething.

Day 245 - 8 Months Old Today!

I'm still sleeping at the hotel in Seattle, so my mom will take a picture to post when I wake up. Mom says she really can't believe I'm 8 months old, I'm almost crawling, I LOVE to grab paper or food right from anyone's hands, I weigh 17 1/2 lbs now and I'm almost 25 inches, I have my two bottom teeth and a third one popping through and a fourth one about to pop through (ouch!). I keep life pretty interesting for my family, but I can tell they love me!

Here are a few pictures from our day:

This was the first time either Zeke or I rode a ferry boat. We got on in Seattle and off on Bainbridge Island. I think Zeke was more interested and impressed with the ride than I was.

Day 244

I wasn't crazy about the airplane ride, but other than that I've been a pretty good travler for a teething baby ... look close and you can see my first two teeth now and a third one is just poping through.

Day 243 - My First Airplane Ride

We flew to Seattle for a funeral today ... not so sure I like these airplane things ... we sat in our seats for waaaayy too long and I got crabby. My daddy and brother Zeke slept almost the whole trip.

Day 240 - I am a miracle

Just in case you can't read it, my shirt says:
Proof that Miracles Happen
Psalm 77:14

Psalm 77:14 (New International Version)

14 You are the God who performs miracles;
you display your power among the peoples.

Day 239 - Bronchiolitis

Well, Dr. appointments, chest xrays, ear infection, and bad cough. Dr. says I have viral bronchiolitis

I have been pretty whiney and icky all day, but then my daddy got home and that made me smile, see:

Day 235 Part 2

We just keep having fun here at Bearskin!

This is me in the polk, being pulled by my big sister. This is how our family takes the little people along who can't ski on their own yet ... gets very warm and sleepy inside those polks

And here I am all warm and cozy in my Mama's sling:

My Papa, my cousin and two of my older brothers had a great time dogsledding:

Day 235

Here I am with pigtails in my hair last night:

And here I am this morning ... wow! wild hair!
